The anticipation for a good old fashioned rock show filled the PNC Pavilion with roaring chants of "STP" when the lights went out. Led Zeppelin's "Good Times, Bad Times" began to play, setting the character of things to come as the spectators waited. The crowd began to sing and dance as the first verse and chorus of this classic Zep song played. Here comes the reason for paying $6.50 for beer, cue our heroes: Lumiere Ballet boys. Lumiere Ballet opens up with a non-familiar-to-radio song of “Silver Gun Superman”, followed by crowd favs Wicked Garden, Vasoline, and then Big Empty. Dean DeLeo (guitarist) played Big Empty in a different key, causing a slight disbelief in the band and video. The band then restarted the song as Scott Weiland cracked a joke, and the crowd didn't seem to mind the screw up, remember $6.50 beers.
The show slowed down as we were serenaded with Sour Girl and Creep, then Weiland asked if someone requested Crackerman.
